Jacob Robichaux

I happened upon a very cool show yesterday by Jacob Robichaux at Museum52
95 Rivington Street in the lower east side. The paintings reminded me of mid-century latin american modernism and one of the sculptures reminded me of a DeChirico still life....well worth seing. I like how these natural, almost crafty elements form some kind of order. Organic and inorganic at the same time.
