UBATUBA!

We spent new years in a beach town a couple hours outside of Sao Paulo . Ubatuba is the name of the town, lagoinha was the beach that we stayed at. Eduardo´s friends Anna and Frid had a house there, with their dog Tina and some other friends of theirs were visiting as well. The beach was amazing, and the beach snacks were crzy good, i had 3 cocoanut ice creams cheese on a stick that´s grilled, guarana ice cream, andof course, aqua de coco.

New year´s eve day we took a boat to Frid´s sisters´ house a couple of beaches down and had an amazing time inth perfect turquise water, then caiprinhas and snacks, then me and Eduardo and fausto walked bck to Anna and Frid´s place.

Anna made an awesome dinner of pork stuffed with farofa and curied shrimp..then we walked to the beach, it was packed and everyone was wearing white, at 12 the fireworks went off all along the beach, then we lit candles, prayed to the goddess of the sea and let seven waves pass over us as we made 7 wishes.

This place is amazing, and Eduardo is one of the coolest peopleI have ever met, he has a great sense of humour and he is generous with his heart and soul, needless to say, I´m having a great time!

I have a lead on a couple of stores that may have havianas in my size, and tomorow I´m off to see If I can find them..more on that story as it develops!
